Singer also participates in inaugural 'Tonight Show' NASCAR 500 go-kart race
Justin Bieber stopped by the Tonight Show Tuesday to deliver "Sorry," an apologetic track off his recently released new LP Purpose. The intimate performance starts off with Bieber, on a darkened stage, channeling his latest single accompanied only by piano. As the track progresses, the lights fade on and it's soon revealed that the Roots and a squad of dancers have joined the singer.
In addition to "Sorry," Bieber also took part in The Tonight Show's inaugural NASCAR 500, which paired actual race car drivers and celebrities in a go-kart relay race through Rockefeller Plaza. Bieber was placed on a team with the Roots' Black Thought and drivers Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick. In a not-quite-close race, Bieber's team was victorious over Fallon's squad, with the singer himself driving the kart on the winning lap. "I've learned a lot from street racing," Bieber joked.
